Last week, the TRINITI Exchange Programme brought together colleagues from our Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian offices in Vilnius for three days dedicated to knowledge sharing, professional development and strengthening cross-border connections.
This year, we were delighted to welcome colleagues from Estonia – Valter Võhma, Peeter Paju, Maarja Lehemets and Peeter P. Mõtsküla – as well as our Latvian partner Zane Bormane. Throughout the programme, we explored topics including the startup and venture capital ecosystem, opportunities within the deep-tech sector, cooperation with universities, and developments in the defence industry across the Baltic states.
Through workshops and discussions, we exchanged best practices, shared market insights and explored ways to strengthen collaboration between our offices. Particular attention was given to how we can create even greater value for our clients by working as one integrated Baltic team.
One of the highlights of the programme was a visit to our client Optonas, where we had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the high-tech business development process. The company’s activities were presented by its Commercial Director, Eduardas, while Benas, representing investment company Nter, which played a key role in the company’s restructuring, shared Optonas’ story and the significant changes it has undergone in recent years.
During the visit, we also toured the company’s laboratory and Research & Development (R&D) facilities, where we learned more about the technologies, innovations and solutions being developed. Such visits provide valuable insights into our clients’ businesses, helping us better understand their operations, business models, value creation processes and day-to-day challenges. At the same time, they help strengthen mutual trust and foster long-term partnerships. For participants, it was also a unique opportunity to see first-hand how cutting-edge technologies are developed and brought to market.
The programme also included discussions on joint Baltic initiatives, new opportunities for cross-border cooperation, and a practical negotiation simulation involving startups and investors, offering valuable insights into the priorities, decision-making processes and expectations of both sides.
What did participants say about the programme?

Equally important were the informal gatherings and shared experiences throughout the programme. These moments allow us to get to know colleagues beyond our day-to-day work, strengthen professional relationships and foster a culture where collaboration comes naturally.
The TRINITI Exchange Programme once again demonstrated that a strong organisation is built not only on expertise, but also on people who are willing to share it. Different perspectives, open discussions and the opportunity to learn from one another help us grow as professionals while strengthening the entire TRINITI community across the Baltics.
