TRINITI has played a key role in transport and infrastructure matters including the following:

  • leading an international consortium to advise the Mobility and Transport branch of the European Commission on the TEN-T North Sea–Baltic Sea Corridor Study
  • assisting with the formation of RB Rail, the joint venture created for the implementation of the Rail Baltica project, which will connect Estonia with Central and Western Europe in the largest-ever joint undertaking in the Baltics (estimated project value: €3.6 billion)
  • conducting a multidisciplinary study on the Rail Baltic joint venture for the Estonian-Latvian-Lithuanian inter-governmental task force
  • advising Deutsche Bahn International, the largest railway operator and infrastructure owner in Europe and the second largest transport company worldwide, on contracts involving €11 million
  • representing Estonian Railways in a dispute with Elektriraudtee on infrastructure tariffs
  • advising Strabag, a leading international road construction company, on its contracts and legal affairs

The Legal 500 notes that TRINITI executed a comprehensive report for the Rail Baltic task force to assist with the €3.6-billion project that involves the construction of more than 700 kilometres of track from Tallinn to Warsaw
