During the current crisis, the authorities are willing to have a more lenient stance on the competition law, but only to the extent that the objective of the relevant activities by the undertakings is to help reduce the effects of the crisis. Any abuse of the crisis for the benefit of a particular undertaking, be it a dominant undertaking increasing its prices or unjustly refusing supplies or other undertaking acting in concert with its competitors, is strictly prohibited under the competition law rules even during the crisis.
