Triniti Jurex – The First Law Firm in the Baltic States to Calculate Its CO2 Footprint

As environmental concerns continue to take center stage, businesses across the globe are increasingly acknowledging the importance of their carbon footprint. Triniti Jurex, a pioneering law firm in the Baltic States, has taken a remarkable step by calculating its CO2 emissions, marking a significant stride towards environmental responsibility and sustainability.

The Calculation of Carbon Dioxide Footprint

By implementing initiatives such as the European Union’s Green Deal and various global as well as local sustainability campaigns, countries, including Lithuania, are motivated to embrace more environmentally friendly practices. Calculating the carbon dioxide footprint of organizations plays a highly important role in comprehending the impact of their actions on the environment. This provides decision-makers with the opportunity to establish clearly measurable objectives aimed at reducing the ecological footprint.

Triniti Jurex’s CO2 Emissions Journey

For the second consecutive year, Triniti Jurex has embarked on calculating the CO2 emissions associated with its operations. To achieve this, the firm partnered with the independent carbon management agency, Planet Positive. This collaborative effort aims to provide transparent insights into the firm’s carbon emissions and to establish a baseline for ongoing improvement.

The firm’s sustainability strategy, with its cornerstone goal of calculating CO2 emissions, is showing promising results. Many indicators demonstrate emissions below industry averages for service sector companies. However, Triniti Jurex recognizes that achieving carbon neutrality involves ongoing commitment. Therefore, the firm is committed to implementing supplementary measures outlined in its sustainability strategy.

Focus on Scope 3 Emissions and Supplier Chains

Notably, a substantial portion of emissions, referred to as Scope 3 emissions, arises from sources beyond the organization’s immediate control. Triniti Jurex acknowledges this challenge and places special emphasis on reviewing its supplier chain. The firm prioritizes collaborating with partners who align with sustainable practices and have set their own carbon reduction goals.
