Siim Maripuu joined the circle of TRINITI partners

The law firm TRINITI is happy to announce that Siim Maripuu, a sworn attorney who started as a trainee and a lawyer at TRINITI, has become a new partner at the law firm.

As a new partner, Siim wants to continue TRINITI’s path as the leading advisor of agricultural entrepreneurs in Estonia and contribute to the development in all areas through clear and customer-friendly transaction advice. Within TRINITI, as a new generation partner, Siim can give new energy to the development of the firm and contribute to shaping his young colleagues in the spirit of TRINITI into extremely competent lawyers, but also caring and warm people.

According to Siim himself, he is grateful to TRINITI’s other partners and colleagues for their great trust and help along the way. “I was supported and advised in my first steps in the agricultural sector in the early years of my career where Estonian law firms did not show much interest in the area. From the first days of my field training to today, the team spirit among all employees and the sincere desire of older colleagues to develop younger ones is what keeps me at TRINITI.”

According to TRINITI’s managing partner Villu Otsmann, Siim is a great example of how you can do great things with great people – his dizzying journey in agricultural transactions is a bold example for newcomers on how success can be achieved through working at the junction of several areas. Siim is the first partner who started his journey at TRINITI, and this is the best recognition of TRINITI’s operating model – there is no ceiling.

Siim started his legal career at TRINITI in 2013 as a trainee. From the beginning to today, Siim’s focus has been on the field of agriculture and transaction consulting, he has been the head and leader of TRINITI’s agriculture working group. With the help of TRINITI’s colleagues, Siim has advised on the most significant transactions in the area, among which the acquisition of Kärla Agricultural Cooperative and sales of Torma POÜ and Raikküla Farmer can be highlighted. Recently, advising Saaremaa Dairy Cooperative on the sale of AS Saaremaa Piimatööstus was also added to the portfolio. In addition to transactions, he has helped many Estonian agricultural producers in solving other legal issues, among others, being well-versed in matters related to agricultural subsidies.

In other areas, Siim has advised on important transactions in industry, IT and other sectors and participated in conducting several large-scale legal audits, resolving disagreements between shareholders, and concluding contracts.

Siim has graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tarty and has been a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 2015. Siim has also been active socially, serving as the chairman of the management board of one of the largest youth associations in Estonia, the Estonian Scout Association, from 2014 to 2021 and as a chief scout from then on.
