Triniti Jurex represented Viezo – a clean tech start-up that has developed vibration energy harvesting technology by which sensors and other Internet of Things elements can be powered without batteries.Viezo’s vibration energy generator can be attached to vibrating objects like train carriages, transforming the vibrations they give off into usable electricity.
What’s truly groundbreaking is that Viezo is the very first company worldwide to achieve this level of electricity generation through this method, resulting in a product that can be sold successfully.
Notably, Viezo’s solution has a smart feature that keeps an eye on the condition of the carriage’s wheels and bearings, sending alerts to the carriage operator if there’s a potential problem on the horizon.
Viezo’s solution is already being used by the world’s largest wagon operators in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia, and the six-figure sum raised will open the door to further expansion. The main investors are Lithuanian angel investors together with the Co-investment Fund.
The Triniti Jurex team – partner Giedrė Čiuladienė and senior associate Lukas Pultaražinskas – represented Viezo in structuring the transaction, drafted the transaction documents, represented Viezo in the negotiations, and advised on other transaction-related matters.
