Akvilė is a TRINITI JUREX student intern at the “Practice Lab 2024”. She had her professional practice at the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, where her main activity was related to internal file inventories. This assignment allowed her to improve her ability to independently summarise legal material and to submit requests and enquiries to state and municipal authorities, thus developing her communication skills.
She was able to observe the progress of a criminal case and the procedural steps involved, such as the imposition of procedural coercive measures, the recognition of a suspect or the termination of a pre-trial investigation. She was also part of drawing up reports on the examination of objects, other objects and the scene of the incident and interviews with witnesses, and observed the completion of an administrative offence report.
