Maarja Pild Promoted to Associate Partner at TRINITI

As of January 2023, attorney-at-law Maarja Pild will continue her work as an associate partner at TRINITI law firm in Estonia.

“We are delighted to welcome on an associate partner journey one of the top experts, who is not only an outstanding attorney, but also a courageous thinker, who intervenes when she senses injustice. Maarja is bringing us additional energy and new ideas that have already taken our law firm to the next level. As an ambitiously growing law firm, she is the kind of person TRINITI needs,” said TRINITI partner Karmen Turk.

Maarja is an attorney with extensive experience in media and data protection law. She is the head of TRINITI’s IP-IT, media and data protection working group, a member of the Estonian Press Council and she has been teaching subject “Privacy and Data Protection Law” to master level students at the University of Tartu already for six years. Maarja has represented clients in numerous complex precedent disputes both in court and before various state authorities, and she has represented clients before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

TRINITI law firm is active in three Baltic countries and brings together more than a hundred top legal professionals. TRINITI’s lawyers are not just plain enforcers of the law, but innovators. Our lawyers have also actively contributed into law making – for example, by being the authors of commentaries to the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia and by contributing to the drafting of various new legal acts in working groups and committees. Likewise, TRINITI is not afraid to present positions in court or in public that contradict the current approach of the Supreme Court, if it does not seem correct or is “out of date”.
