Partner Tõnis Tamme elected to the board of British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce


The British Estonian Chamber of Commerce (BECC) announced their new board to lead the Chamber through to next year. New Board Members: Tõnis Tamme, Partner at Law Firm Tamme Otsmann Ruus Vabamets, Kristiina Koel, Head of Global Transaction Services at SEB and Leo O’Neill, Managing Director of HML Project Management have joined the board following their election at the AGM of the Chamber. They join the existing board members, Mart Mere, CEO at Marsh Kindlustusmaakler, Ants Karu, Partner at Law Office LEXTAL, Jonathan Poole, Managing Partner of the Merchants House Hotel and James Oates, CEO of Cicero Capital.

BECC will be offering a highly varied schedule of business and social events over the coming year. One of the highlights will be SmartEST investment conference in London on May 16th in collaboration with Enterprise Estonia and the British Embassy. With its membership at a record high for recent years the BECC remains one of the most active foreign chamber in Estonia. Following its successful support of the Estonian Cystic Fibrosis Association over the last year, BECC hopes to raise several thousand Euros to support a charity partner also this year. BECC will also continue its programme of scholarships for students at Tallinn Technical University.

Advocate-at-law and partner of the firm Tõnis Tamme sees his main mission on the BECC board to ensure the good substance of the various events, seminars and conferences organised by the chamber so that BECC would continue to be an initiator and hub for important economic discussions in Estonia as well as provide its members, incl foreign investors with the knowledge, skills and contacts they need most in their everyday business.
