TRINITI Partner Awarded for Thesis at Oxford University

Triniti

Partner Linas Sabaliauskas recently graduated from the Oxford University Saïd Business School, where he was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy (with distinction). His thesis “A Case for Private Equity in the Baltics” introducing performance results of the private equity funds in the Baltic States during the last two decades as well as GPs’ and LPs’ expectations for the future was awarded with the Saïd Prize for the Best Project on Financial Strategy this year. There are over 40 students in this program with only one student graduating with this prize each year. Most of the students are occupying financial positions, such as CFOs and Finance Managers, in international corporations operating worldwide, such as Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Nordea, Bloomberg, Smiths, LSG Skychefs and others. Most probably Linas Sabaliauskas is the only lawyer awarded with the prize and the only Lithuanian who has graduated from this financial program to date.

Linas Sabaliauskas is the Managing Partner of TRINITI Lithuania and Head of the Private Equity Practice. He has acquired most of his knowledge on private equity while studying abroad – Linas is also a graduate from the Oxford Private Equity Programme (2011), and has successfully completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital Program at Harvard Business School in 2012.
